Virginia Beach will once again celebrate the arrival of the New Year with a festive “Last Night on the Town” New Year’s Eve event in Town Center, hosted by the Central Business District Association.
The Countdown Stage on Columbus Avenue is the hub for festivities and live music!
Headlining at Last Night on the Town this year: 10,000 Maniacs!
The 5th annual Last Night on the Town will begin with a family-friendly celebration at Pembroke Mall, then continues right through the night with entertainment at Town Center, culminating with a live performance at Countdown Stage by 10,000 Maniacs.
Beginning at 2:00pm, bring the children to Pembroke Mall for family fun on several stages. Kids can celebrate together during their own countdown celebration!
Toast to the New Year at Town Center’s Countdown Stage from 5:30pm until Midnight. Enjoy more roving entertainment and dance the night away to performances by favorite local bands. Performances on the main stage keep things rocking until the New Year. Count down to midnight and enjoy a spectacular laser light show and countdown as a big ball drops to ring in 2018!
All activities and entertainment are free and open to the public.
