Description
This will be a low-impact active class that is easy to continue outside of the workshop. In this workshop you will gain a feel for the traditional dance and martial art of the Māori People from New Zealand.

Welcome Beautifuls to Intro and Beginner Poi Spinner Class!
While the roots are Maori, this workshop focuses on the North American adaptation and stylized interpretations of poi spinning.
Poi spinning varies greatly from person to person and place to place, which means you can’t go wrong with your own personal flair!
For this class you will need water to stay hydrated, comfortable clothes, barefoot or shoes (personal choice) and also the ability to swing at least one arm in full range of motion and wrists with full range of motion. And most importantly be prepared to have fun
Poi will be provided for each student, and they will be yours to keep!
Class is limited due to space needed for learning!
18 and up!
$45 per person
