Tidewater Fencing Club

Description

A community fencing club for Hampton Roads, open to all skill levels and anyone age eight or more. Welcome to Tidewater Fencing Club! We meet every Monday - Saturday 7 pm - 10 pm, as well as Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm, at our dedicated facility. Instruction is provided from beginner to advanced competitive fencing. Equipment is provided at the beginner level. At the club level our dues are $50 a month for an individual and $25 for each additional family member. This includes use of the electric scoring apparatus. Our head coach, Seong Kim, is a former Olympic competitor and coach. We offer beginner classes for adults and children that start the Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday AFTER the first Monday of every month and run for four weeks. Classes take place Wednesday & Thursday, 7 pm - 8:30 pm, and 10 am - 1 pm on Saturday. Each beginner class meets once per week. Please wear athletic shoes, sweatpants, and a t-shirt. There are two levels, I and II, and for each level the class fee is $100 for one person and $50 for each additional family member. Level I is for people that have no experience, while Level II is for people with some (but not all) of the fundamentals.
