Go Local's mission is to support and promote small and locally owned businesses in our area. We work to educate the community on the important role that these businesses play in our local economy. These small and locally owned businesses also help to give a community its own distinct character. Norfolk’s historic Ghent would not be the same without the Naro Cinema, Virginia Beach without the Cavalier Hotel at the Oceanfront and Portsmouth without the Bier Garden and the Commodore Theater in historic Old Town... to name just a few unique locally owned businesses.
