Why HookHers? Starting My Brand wasn't something I decided to do overnight. HookHers was inspired by my years in the "Fishing World." I am a Stay at home Mother of Three with one in the oven. (24 weeks) as I type this earlier morning blog, Im constantly racking my brain on how to appeal to every women out there that wants to tell their story about the Sport they love, Fishing. Any who, My Inspiration started at a very young age. My Mother always kept me active on the coast line, Gulf Of Mexico. I was Born and raised in good ol Houston, Texas! Just about every weekend my mother had me down in Galveston or FreePort, either catching some waves, camping, and of course Fishing. Most of the time it was always all three. The style of fishing we chased, was "There were NO Boundaries". My Mother was always a risk taker! I Loved It. Pier Fishing, Beach Fishing, Jetties, any place she could find, or she knew was a good spot, or if we weren't catching we would pack up, she was going to find a new spot, and try. She was Driven, by the thrill of hooking, and catching. It was a family routine and apart of life for us. Through the years, I watched my mom, and her Passion for fishing was beautiful, the amount of time and effort it took to have every little detail packed for our weekend adventures, was always appreciated by me. Made me admire her drive, to no matter what, get out there and fish. The Apparel I have designed, has came from a place inside ...to be continued ...
