We welcome you to safely join us in person for Christmas Eve or Christmas Day Masses at Saint Bede Catholic Church, Williamsburg, VA.
Event Details
Christmas Eve Masses: 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, 8:30pm Spanish, and Midnight
Christmas Day Masses: 8:30am and 11am
Locations: Saint Bede Nave and Kaplan Parish Hall overflow Mass- 3686 Ironbound Road
National Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham- 520 Richmond Road (2pm and 4pm ONLY)
Due to the expected number attending and the limited building capacity due to COVID restrictions, registration is needed for all Christmas Masses. Depending on the time selected, Masses will be held in up to three locations simultaneously. After choosing your time, select the available location desired when registering. Not all locations will be available at all Mass times.
Print and bring with you your registration ticket. They will be checked prior to entry to the buildings.
Unfortunately due to COVID we must be more diligent in seating guests in the pews. Seats cannot be held for anybody. Please make sure all members of your party attending Mass enter the building together for seating.
To allow the previous Mass guests to safely exit, and to allow time to sanitize the pews, seating will not be available until 30 minutes prior to Mass.
For any Mass time at which the the Nave does not reach capacity, and if we can safely accommodate in the Nave all those registered for Kaplan Parish Hall, there may not be a Mass in Kaplan Parish Hall at that time.
Please follow all directions and guidance from our volunteer Ushers. They are giving of their time to allow our parish to be able to offer public Masses in this time of extra precautions.
Masks (covering both nose and mouth) are required by the Diocese of Richmond to be worn at all times while in the buildings.
Due to COVID-19, Mass is being livestreamed for use on various Diocesan digital media accounts of the Catholic Diocese of Richmond, including, but not limited to, the Saint Bede website and social media platforms of the Catholic Diocese of Richmond and Saint Bede parish. Photography and/or screenshot images from the livestream may be used for the Catholic Virginian print edition and Saint Bede parish. If you do not wish to be captured by Livestreaming, please refrain from attending the Christmas Eve 4:00pm and 8:30pm Spanish Mass, and the 8:30am Christmas Day Mass.
