WCC Christmas Preview Dinner (click here for details)

This year's concert is entitled "You Are the Light." Have you noticed that the theme of "light" is common to almost all of the elements of the Christmas narrative? The Old Testament prophets fortold the coming of Messiah saying, "Arise! Shine! Your Light has come..." (Isa 60:1). Angels, beings of celestial light, appeared to Mary and Joseph. The shepherds were terrified when "...the glory of the Lord shone round about them..." The Magi from Babylon followed the light of the star. Light is central to the Christmas story.

Our concert takes an unexpected turn at the end when we hear the words of Christ, "You are the light of the world." The concert will conclude with a beautiful a cappella benediction that calls us to take Christ's light to everyone.
