Hampton Roads LGBT and Queer Resources. Covering Hampton Roads. We host monthly "Alternative Nights Out" and an annual "Alternative Pride Picnic."
Event Details
Alternatives HR will be hosting our 3rd Annual "Alternative Pride Picnic" on Sunday, June 30 at the Picnic Shelter at First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach, 100 Conservation Court, Virginia Beach.
The picnic will begin at noon and will last until around 5 or 6pm.
This year we will be having a Pirate theme. Feel free to dress like a pirate or to wear your favorite pirate themed shirt.
Join us for a relaxed day in the park. We'll have food, music, and games!!! We’ll also be having a treasure hunt!
We will be providing charcoal grills and a main dish (meat and veggie options). We are asking guests to bring a potluck dish or a dessert to share.
We welcome all friendly and respectful "Alternative" communities from Hampton Roads including LGBTQ, Poly, Pagan, New Age, Fet, and others!
