Inaugural Beautifully Bald 5K Run/Walk for Alopecia Awareness. Alopecia is an autoimmune condition causing hair loss on the scalp and body.
Event Details
Beautifully Bald was established for the purpose of educating and promoting awareness of Alopecia Areata. The aim of Beautifully Bald is to inspire, and empower those living with Alopecia Areata to embrace who they are, develop a healthy self image and improve self confidence.
This event will be held Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the Mariners Museum Park in Newport News, VA. Come join us for a day of fun, encouragement and education.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to beautiful kids non-profit, a local organization which supports , empowers and makes wigs for children living with alopecia.
